Flower Festival - and more

Our annual Flower Festival is held on the first weekend in October as part of the church's Harvest Festival celebrations. The 2018 Festival will take place from October 5th to 7th with the theme 'All Things Bright and Beautiful' Floral arrangers of all abilities and experience are invited to take part!

Floral arrangements could be themed around the gifts of God in creation, a harvest of beauty rather than simply of food. All kinds of interpretations are welcome. If 'Bright and Beautiful' alone fails to inspire, then move on to the next line, all creatures great and small - so many of the creatures are bright or beautiful or both! A tiger is already booked for 'Tiger, tiger, burning bright!'

We welcome everyone to drop in to St Leonard's during the Festival, enjoy the arrangements and stay for some refreshments. Admission is free with donations to the church invited. The Festival is one of the highlights of the church's year with many hundreds of visitors coming to St Leonard's for the event. Setting up for the Festival takes place in church on October 3rd and 4th.

The Flower Festival is a community event involving all ages from children to 90-year-olds, community groups and churches.
