Christmas at St Leonard's

St Leonard’s Church, Sandridge

We shall be celebrating Christmas at St Leonard’s with:

Sunday December 3rd at 3pm. Craft Christingle Service – children from toddlers upwards (with their parents or carers) make Christmas crafts before celebrating the wonder of Christmas with special Christingles. A collection will be taken for the work of The Children's Society.

Sunday December 17th 6pm. Carols by Candlelight – join in the familiar carols and hear Bible readings telling the story of the birth of Christ.

Christmas Eve, December 24th at 3pm and 5pm, Crib Services – especially for the children, and good for all ages.

Christmas Eve, December 24th at 11.30pm, the First Communion of Christmas – with traditional carols and a communion service.

Christmas Day at 10am, an All Age Celebration when we mark the birth of Jesus Christ, sing his praises and join in communion.

Other Christmas events include the Christmas Concert with the Village Voices community choir on Saturday December 2nd at 7.30pm (tickets £5 at door).

You're welcome to all these Christmas events!

The theme of this year's Christmas services is Light in the Darkness

The collection taken at our Christingle service will be donated to The Children's Society
Collections taken at other Christmas services will be divided equally between Keech Cottage hospice and St Leonard's.
