Trinity Season

I hope you are keeping as well as you can, finding a rhythm of prayer that brings something of God’s hope and peace each day and joining in our Sunday worship at 10 with your order of service.

Some of us have been able to see each other follow the service on our computers and if you would like an inviation link please email

I am delighted to let you know we ‘ve worked out how to invite folk to join in too by phone.

Here are the steps to take –

  • At 9.55am on Sunday call the telephone number 0203 481 5240 or 0203 051 2874. Both will work each week. Note these numbers have changed recently to increase security.
  • You will be asked to enter the meeting ID number into the keypad on your phone. Our Meeting ID: 838 2459 9241 followed by # key. Note - this has changed recently.
  • You may be then asked to key in the Password followed by the # key but we are not using a password at the moment so carrying on following the instructions.

If you’re abit early and the service has not already started, you will be asked to press # to wait. Keep holding on until you start hearing others say hello. At 10am we’ll start and our voices will be put on mute (that’s so we don’t hear each other’s dogs barking or doorbell ringing).  At the end of the meeting we are all unmuted and stay together for a chat. I will ask each of us how we’re doing so listen out for your name when prompted.

Give it a try and see how you get on –don’t be disheartened if you don’t get on this week! at first but do contact us if you have any questions about it and spread the word by letting your buddies and neighbours know they can connect.

If that feels like a step too far for now, which is understandable, the national church Daily Hope phone line is a free national phone line aimed for those who do not have access to the internet to bring worship and prayer into people’s home.  The line is available 24 hours a day on 0800 804 8044. Callers will hear a special greeting from the Archbishop of Canterbury before choosing from a range of options, including ‘Prayer During the Day’, ‘Night Prayer’ and a recording of the Church of England’s weekly national online service. A section called Hymn Line will also offer a small selection of hymns, updated daily.
